Why I don't need a large purse anymore

I’ve scaled back

Things I carry;

I used larger purses

But I got weary.

Bare minimum,

On the barest basis:

Wallet, phone

And keys to places.

Less keys now,

And less places.

I’m shedding jobs

And have more space.

Days and dates

Blend into each other,

Although I write the date

Each day in my journal.

Time to reflect,

And time to muse

About life, and learning,

My world views.

My load is lighter

I don’t need a lot.

Happiness is inside,

Or it’s not.
